Romance Writers of America: a national non-profit genre writers association, the largest of its kind in the world. It provides networking and support to individuals seriously pursuing a career in romance fiction.

There are many resources out there for writers, but here are a few that are popular with our group members

LINKS TO PRIMARY RESOURCES FOR RESEARCH:

  • Bartleby.com: unlimited access to books and literature on the Web, free of charge.
  • The Library Of Congress: American Memory: American Memory provides free and open access through the Internet to written and spoken words, sound recordings, still and moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that document the American experience.
  • Using Primary Sources On The Web: provides students and researchers with information to help them evaluate the internet sources and the quality of primary materials that can be found online.
  • The New York Public Library: the New York Public Library is a memory bank par excellence, one of the great knowledge institutions of the world
  • NYPL Digital: a gateway to The Library’s rare and unique collections in digitized form.
